Ravalli Head Start has a funded enrollment of 119 preschool students. We offer six classes in Hamilton and one class in Stevensville. Classes run four hours per day, 4 days per week for 128 days (approximately the same schedule as public schools).
We employ 34, including - 7 teachers and 7 assistant teachers, one Education and Disabilities manager, two family partnerships specialists and one Family and Community Partnership manager, two Health and Nutrition managers, a fiscal officer and an accounting assistant, a cook, assistant cook and a food service worker, two custodians, three bus drivers and 3 bus monitors, and the executive director and his administrative/HR staff person. RHS also has an on-site, contracted child psychologist and a speech therapist.

About Ravalli Head Start
Ravalli Head Start is a Montana Behavior Institute Pilot site. They also provide the UCL Johnson & Johnson Health Care institute in partnership with Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital. Ravalli Head Start is a WORD Literacy Corps Family Resource Center site and the lead partner in the Ravalli County School Readiness Project. Montana Tech Corps partners with Ravalli Head Start to provide computer literacy training for families and staff.
