Northwest Montana Head Start
NW Montana Head Start seeks to fill the position
of Director with a capable and motivated leader. The
Kalispell-based program operates five centers in Flathead and
Lincoln Counties . The Director will oversee the program’s 60+
employees; be responsible for developing and grant-writing
associated with the program’s $1.8 M budget; and maintain program
compliance with federal Head Start and Montana child-care
regulations.
Head Start is an EOE that promotes school readiness by enhancing the
social and cognitive development of pre-kindergarten children
through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social
and other services to economically disadvantaged children and
families.
